The Role

Our client is a long established law firm located at Fortitude Valley. They are seeking a 2nd year law student to join their firm and work across their commercial and litigation teams. Working closely with lawyers, duties you can expect to do include:

• drafting emails and corresponding with clients
• reviewing documents
• court applications
• court filing
• research
• online searches
• assisting with conveyancing, commercial and agriculture sale and purchases

You

To be suitable for this role you will be studying law and ideally be in your 2nd year or close to completing your first year of law. Preference is for candidates who can work in the office fulltime, however, consideration will be given to candidates who can work 3 or 4 consecutive days in the office per week. Candidates with some law firm experience will be highly regarded. Time will be given off for exams and allowance will be given for study leave. Salary on offer is $65K + super FTE.
