About the role

We are seeking talented and motivated Law Clerks to join our team at Spink Legal in South Brisbane. As a casual Law Clerk, you will be providing invaluable support to our legal professionals, contributing to the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality legal services to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

You will be working closely with our professionals and other law clerks:

Assisting with the drafting and proofreading of a variety of estate and commercial documents and correspondence

Conducting legal research and analysis

Providing administrative support, such as scheduling appointments, managing client inquiries, and coordinating with external parties

Organising and maintaining electronic files and matter workflows

Developing a strong understanding of the firm's practice areas and contributing to the team's ongoing professional development

What we're looking for

You will:

be studying a degree in Law with a strong academic results

have excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

show strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure

be proficient in using legal research tools and software applications

have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and our team

show a proactive and collaborative approach to work, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
