Role Description
An exciting leadership opportunity now exists for a driven Area Manager to oversee five key branches across the Sydney region. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on leading people, streamlining operations, and delivering commercial outcomes.
With responsibility for approximately 35 team members, including external sales staff, this role demands a hands-on leader who can balance strategic direction with daily operational oversight. Your focus will be on coaching your team, optimising performance across each site, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring targets are achieved across sales, safety, and service delivery.
This role suits a commercially/residentially minded professional with prior experience managing multi-site operations in the construction, building products, or steel industries.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support five branch teams, including external sales staff and operations personnel
Drive performance through coaching, team development, and strategic leadership
Monitor and improve branch-level financials, sales performance, and customer satisfaction
Ensure safety standards, compliance, and quality service across all locations
Collaborate closely with the NSW Sales Manager to execute regional growth plans
Build strong relationships with major builders, concreters, and project stakeholders
Implement best practices across inventory, logistics, and delivery operations
Report on KPIs, branch performance, and sales forecasts to senior management
Salary and Benefits
Base $130k - $150k | Super 11.5% | Car | Commission
