About the role

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced and motivated Landscape Construction Team Leader to join our talented and fast-paced team based in Queanbeyan. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the day-to-day operations of our landscape construction crews, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards and within agreed timelines.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

Manage and coordinate a team of landscape construction specialists to complete a variety of landscape projects on time and to budget

Oversee all on-site operations, including project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation

Provide hands-on guidance, mentorship, and training to team members to develop their skills and ensure quality workmanship

Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration

Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during project execution

Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our landscape construction processes and practices

About You

Along with a strong work ethic and your previous experience in a similar position you'll have/be:

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar landscape construction supervisory role

Horticultural qualification ( Cert III or higher) would be highly regarded

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident

Strong eye for detail, commitment to high quality finishes and understanding of landscaping materials, techniques, and industry best practices

Proficient in the use of landscape construction equipment and tools

Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines

Current unrestricted ACT or NSW Driver's licence, Silica & White Cards - are mandatory requirements
