Senior DevOps Engineer – Identity & Access Management

Sydney | Contract | Cloud-Native Environment | 6+ Months

We’re supporting a major financial institution in expanding their Identity & Access Management (IAM) capabilities- one of the core pillars of cybersecurity and critical to global operations.

This is a contract opportunity for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team, focused on automating, securing, and scaling cloud-native identity platforms within a modern enterprise tech environment.

What you’ll be working on:

Developing and maintaining IAM-related infrastructure in AWS

Building CI/CD pipelines and automating delivery workflows

Enhancing monitoring, alerting, and system reliability

Collaborating across teams to embed DevSecOps best practices

Supporting production systems and driving improvements in performance and resilience

We’re looking for:

Strong programming skills in Python and Java

Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, Lambda, CloudFormation, SQS, SNS)

Experience with Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jira, and Git

Familiarity with Docker and Linux shell scripting

Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and delivery focus
