About the Role:

As a Director, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality tax advisory services, focusing on stamp duty, land tax, and other state-based taxes. You will collaborate with a national team of experts, contributing to the growth and development of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic tax advice on state taxes, including stamp duty and land tax, to a broad range of clients.
• Lead and manage complex tax engagements, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional services.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Stay abreast of legislative changes and industry developments to provide proactive advice to clients.

About You:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in state taxes, with a strong focus on stamp duty and land tax.
• Proven track record in a Big 4, mid-tier accounting firm, law firm, or relevant government agency.
• Excellent technical knowledge and the ability to interpret complex legislation.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams and projects.
