looking for compassionate and committed Disability Support Workers to join our team in

delivering high-quality support within Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes across central

Melbourne’s Northwest, Northeast and West.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in supporting NDIS participants to live

independently, with dignity and choice, in a home environment. This includes assisting with

daily living tasks, fostering community participation, and helping individuals achieve their

personal goals.

Key Responsibilities

 Provide personalised support with daily activities (e.g., meal prep, medication, hygiene,

household tasks)

 Encourage independence, social inclusion, and skill development

 Support participants with complex needs, including behaviours of concern

 Implement individual support plans and promote goal achievement

 Document progress and report concerns or changes in needs

 Build trusting relationships with participants, families, and allied professionals

 Uphold participant rights and NDIS Practice Standards

About You

 Empathetic, patient and proactive in your approach

 Committed to promoting participant choice and control

 Experienced in disability support (SIL or residential care experience highly regarded)

 Comfortable supporting participants with varying support needs, including mental health

and dual diagnosis

Qualifications & Requirements

 Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support or equivalent (or working towards)

 Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check

 Valid First Aid & CPR (HLTAID011)

 Current Australian Driver’s Licence

 Full COVID-19 vaccination

 Experience with manual handling and personal care
