The Client
A well-respected professional accounting firm in Zetland working in the bookkeeping and accounting part of the business.

This is a role where you can manage your own client portfolio with clients in a variety of industries such as hospitality, medical, and construction.

There will be lots of support provided. You will be working with a supportive Manager and a team where everyone has been there a long time and they like to have fun with regular staff occasions!

What will the role involve?

• Managing end-to-end accounting services including compliance and financial reporting.
• Preparing financial statements and reports for management and regulatory bodies.
• Reviewing budgets, operating costs, and recommending cost-saving measures.
• Ensuring financial reports are accurate and compliant with statutory requirements.
• Liaising with clients, financial institutions, and the Australian Taxation Office.
• Overseeing and improving accounting systems like Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.
• Continually improving processes through self-review and ongoing learning.
  
  

Who will the role suit?

• Qualified Accountants with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant experience.
• Proficient in Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.
• At least 2 years' experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in client interactions.
• A motivated self-starter who can work independently but enjoys being part of a team.
