Qualifications & experience

Ability to carry out other metal fabrication duties: i.e. marking out, grinding, oxy/plasma, cutting, folding, guillotining and drilling. Commitment to quality and detail. Must have a keen interest in cars.

Experience with all basic sheet metal machinery and MIG Welding. No trade certificate required, but INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS A MUST.

Tasks & responsibilities

Prepare vehicle bodies for rust repairs. Descaling chassis. Weld fabricated sections. Fabricate sections for vehicles.

Metal cutting. Ensure all chassis repairs are done in accordance to the AS/NZS 1554.5. Grinding. Keep work area clean and tidy. Work well as part of a small team.
