Very busy manufacturing workshop located in Sumner 4074 QLD

Casual hours but for the right candidate Full time position available.

We are a growing sheet metal fabrication business based in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane and due to continued growth, we are seeking a Trades Assistant for our Workshop at Sumner.

About the Role:

• Assist in our Workshop

• Learn to manufacture various roofing and cladding items

• Working within a team environment

• Learn to operate various machines

• Monday to Friday with the possibility of overtime and occasional Saturday work

Ideally you will possess the following:

• Pride in your work and attention to detail

• Ability to learn safe work procedures

• written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to follow instructions

• Familiarity with light gauge sheet metal fabrication

• Reliable transport to and from work

Advantageous if you have welding experience with aluminium and mild steel products.
