We’re working with a highly regarded business that is urgently seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team on a 12-month contract to support their year-end process. With a recent resignation and a new audit partner onboard, this is a critical hire—and we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of project and BAU work, and is available to start quickly. While the initial contract is 6-12 months, there is a strong likelihood that the role will transition to a permanent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparation of financial statements (special purpose and general purpose)
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Liaise with external auditors and support audit processes
• Support broader month-end and reporting activities
• Contribute to ongoing BAU finance operations following year-end

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in financial reporting and audit preparation
• Strong intercompany and month-end reporting skills
• Exposure to both special purpose and general-purpose financial statements
• Experience working with auditors (highly regarded)
• A self-starter who can pick things up quickly and work independently
