About the role

We are seeking a passionate Barista to join our team at Luna’s Garfield. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious coffee beverages in a fast-paced, full-time role. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, customer-focused individual to contribute to the success of our popular bakehouse.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and serving a variety of specialty espresso based coffee drinks, as well as cold drinks and smoothies to a high standard

Providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a positive cafe experience for all customers

Maintaining a clean and organised work area, including operating and cleaning coffee equipment

Assisting with other cafe duties as needed, such as food preparation, cashiering, and restocking supplies

Collaborating with the team to promote a positive, customer-focused work environment

What we're looking for

Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Barista or in a similar coffee-making role

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of coffee-making techniques and a passion for creating high-quality beverages

Friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic personality

Food handling and barista training qualifications or certifications (desirable)
