Role Overview:

We are currently looking to expand our team with the addition of a Appliance Assembly Technician. The role is critical in assisting our team to deliver our high end range of Cookout BBQs and accessories while maintaining a high standard of finished product, identifying defects and working with department leading hand to develop systems to improved quality and assembly time for products. Working with the assembly team you will be involved in developing and documenting clear procedures that will enable effective scaling and production of all appliances ensuring repeatability and consistency of quality.

Your technical know how and excellent communication will enable you to learn and understand processes and procedures for assembling appliances efficiently. You will be pro-active with regards to organising and maintaining the assembly Workfront to help drive production efficiency within this department.

Key Responsibilities:

Assembling finished products including gas and electrical appliances to a high standard

Assembling gas and electrical sub-assemblies

Identifying defects and communicating with teams and production manager

Identifying and communicating bottlenecks with assembly line.

Servicing older appliances as part of our service offering to existing customers.

Assist in the maintenance of stock levels of gas and electrical parts and assemblies

Maintain tools as well as work areas so that they remain clean and tidy and in good working order.

Requirements:

Prior experience as a technician

Qualification in a trade such as an Electrician would be hugely beneficial

Must possess strong motivation and excellent communication skills.

Keen attention to detail with a proactive approach getting the job done.

Training and Development:

The successful candidate will receive in-house training and will work under the guidance of the appliance leading hand.
