PMS Lithography P/L located in Thomastown is seeking a Machine Assistant

Permanent Hours 7.00am to 3.00pm + overtime. Monday to Friday Salary package commensurate with experience.

Where you are responsible for Assisting in the running a variety of equipment that including Litho lam / Single face flute, sheeting paper to customer specifications, performing quality checks to make sure material meets the high-quality standards of the company. This role depends on employee who are able to work with minimal supervision, communicate effectively with production and be conscious of quality.

Assistant Operator Duties/Responsibilities include:

Following all safety rules and procedures

Assistant on a wide variety of corrugated equipment.

Maintaining clean and organized work areas

Cleaning the starch area and machine areas

Assisting setting and running Litho Lam equipment

Completing accurate records

Performing other duties as assigned by Production Manager

Must be able to cross-train to more than one equipment type.

Qualifications:

Work effectively as a member of a team

Positive attitude and eye for detail.

Forklift licence will be advantageous but not essential.

Must have valid current drivers licence and own transport.

Work unsupervised within a small team.

Able to work overtime when required.

Required to run other finishing equipment as instructed.
