Contracts Administrator

Design & Build are searching for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our clients well established team. Our client is a National Tier 2 Construction company with a proven history of successfully delivery large scale Commercial and Industrial projects. The successful applicant will be rewarded with a permanent position with a company that will truly invest in your career and personal development.

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience as a Contracts Administrator on large scale Commercial and Industrial projects. You will have been exposed to projects over $20mill. You should be able to demonstrate a proven track record of longevity with previous construction companies.

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Relevant Contracts Admin or Project Management experience
• Confidence in your abilities to communicate with Senior Management and subcontractors alike
• Autonomy to work individually and as a part of a team
• Understanding of construction practices and processes
• Intimate knowledge of Qld Construction legislation
• Knowledge of environmental management responsibilities
• Experience with head contract and subcontract negotiation skills
• Previous use of Cheops, Procore and Hammertech

Your Duties and Responsibilities

• Contractual dispute resolution
• Prepare subcontractor documents
• Monthly preparation and presentation of project reports
• Procurement; sourcing, negotiation and tracking
• Financial monitoring and planning
• Preparing and presenting progress claims
• Stakeholder engagement and management
• Adhere and value safety principles and practices
