Our Archerfield location is located south west of Brisbane with easy access to freeways.

About the role

Reporting to the Project Manager and General Manager, you’ll work across a varied project portfolio—all delivered through Modscape’s modular innovation and advanced manufacturing line. You’ll manage subcontractor tenders and proposals, track claims and cash flow, and act as a key interface between Modscape, its suppliers, subcontractors, and clients. You’ll also help identify and manage contractual risks to keep projects running smoothly, efficiently, and commercially sound.

You will be joining Modscape as a founding member of the Queensland team, with lots of exciting work waiting in the pipeline. Supporting the urgent need for social and affordable housing, including the largest volumetric timber project in the southern hemisphere as well as addressing the need to deliver better educational and health spaces for Queensland’s growing population.

Whilst we are focused on helping major social program’s we do continue to work act the cutting edge of R&D in developing prototypes and innovations in supporting the defense sector in remote locations. We are also equally excited to harness our skills to deliver Brisbane 2032 Olympics with opportunities in delivering athlete accommodation as well as sporting facilities.

Your day-to-day will include:

Supporting early project setup by helping define scopes, financial systems, and key program milestones

Managing project communication and contract obligations—keeping things moving between Modscape, sub-contractors, consultants, and clients

Preparing and tracking claims, payments, and forecasts to support strong financial performance across the project

Assisting with monthly reports and liaising across commercial, operational and finance teams to keep the numbers clear

Identifying risks and ensuring sub-contractors are meeting contract obligations—while always looking for smart, cost-effective outcomes

Following Modscape’s Environmental, Health and Safety procedures to maintain high standards on every project

This role will require you to work onsite with potential travel opportunities.

This is an exceptional opportunity to make significant impact in Queensland built environment, joining a small group from the ground up at our Queensland location.

What you will bring (requirements)

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related filed.

At least 2-5 years’ experience in contract administration or project coordination in construction or manufacturing environment – preferably Tier 1 or Tier 2.

Familiarity with work, health and safety practices.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in construction management software (we use Jobpac – not required but desired).

Ability to build relationships across project teams and vendors.

Detail-focused, deadline-driven, and across the numbers—without losing sight of the bigger picture.
