About the Role
WorkPac are seeking an Environment Technician for an immediate start in an 8-week assignment based in Boyne Island, QLD. This role will support the site’s environmental monitoring activities, working closely with an existing technician and contributing to both field and lab-based work.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct environmental stack testing, including equipment setup and manual transportation

Collect and prepare environmental samples in the laboratory

Support environmental monitoring programs with accurate data handling and documentation

Work both independently and as part of a small team

Skills and Experience Required

Manual driver’s licence (mandatory)

Experience in environmental fieldwork or laboratory work preferred

Strong awareness of safety and manual handling procedures

Ability to manage physical tasks and operate equipment in outdoor conditions

Team player with good initiative and attention to detail
