About the role

We seek an experienced Hotel Manager to lead the team at our renowned Alpine Hotel in the picturesque town of Bright, Victoria. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving continuous improvement.

This is a hands-on role - you will manage a busy hotel and other venue operations.

What you'll be doing

Manage and oversee all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, cafe, food and beverage

Develop and implement effective strategies to maximise occupancy, revenue, and profitability

Ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction are maintained at all times

Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of hospitality professionals, providing coaching and training as required

Rostering

Manage the hotel's budget and financial performance

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards

Foster strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and the local community to promote the hotel's reputation

Proactive social media and marketing relations

Assisting with staff recruitment and training

Collaborate closely with the hotel management to support the overall strategic direction of the hotel

What we're looking for

Significant experience in a hotel management role

Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving operational excellence

Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team

Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Passionate about the hospitality industry and committed to continuous improvement

Availability on weekends and public holidays

Experience in staff recruitment, management and training

Passion for the role and willingness to help the business grow and develop

Experience in marketing and engagement of community events
