Repairs and maintenance are a priority,…no ‘blu-tak/gaffer tape repairs’, we are always upgrading.

Our Hotel has a genuine Family/Community/Entertainment/Events focus, we leave the doof doof music etc to the others.
There is room for revenue growth, but that is NOT our No.1 priority. (Let's chase quality & consistency, the $ will follow)

It also means that when you go home, you don't need to ‘take work home’. Yes, you'll have to work hard, and there'll always be ‘things’ that crop up, but we don't want you doing stupid hours. We do want you to be part of the community, to get out and about, take time for your family/friends, to ‘want' to be here, and get a real sense of satisfaction from managing one of the best venues in North East Victoria.

We don't have any gaming to subsidise everything else, we just have to be better operators
It's not a ‘Beginners’ hotel, it has a lot of moving parts. (Including a Mini-Golf course out the back,….told you we're not ‘just a pub’)
It's not a formula driven, cookie cutter hotel, we are always adapting.
Skills and commitment that we need:
Demonstrated experience in management of fast paced and flexible food and beverage business
Ability to create/manage weekly budgets, rostering, forecasting and COGS
Career minded with exceptional leadership skills, we need you to be capable & keen to grow and develop people.
Experience in developing, upgrading, implementing and maintaining operational procedures…you'll need to be able to write a procedure or two.
Ability and commitment to growing quality of experience and sales.
Some understanding of accommodation (we have 14 guest rooms, currently running over 60% occupancy year round) …but we can train in this area.

Reliable vehicle and current drivers licence.
