As a Fabricator Welder at Spencer Systems, you will be a key part of our workshop and field service team, supporting the production, assembly, and repair of high-quality industrial equipment. Based at our Riverstone facility, your work will directly contribute to the success of our national operations in the dry cleaning and laundry industries.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to fabricate custom metal parts and structures

Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding with precision and consistency

Carry out layout, cutting, fitting, and assembly of metal components

Maintain and repair industrial machinery, structural frames, and mechanical assemblies

Adhere to strict safety standards and quality assurance processes

Collaborate with the wider production and engineering teams to refine workflows and resolve technical challenges

Assist with onsite installations of steam systems, boilers, and other industrial equipment as required

What We’re Looking For

Relevant trade qualification or demonstrated equivalent experience in metal fabrication and welding

Ability to adapt designs to suit site-specific conditions

Strong fabrication skills with the ability to create one-off items and prototypes

Sound knowledge of welding methods (MIG, TIG, stick) and metalworking tools

Competence in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Strong problem-solving skills and practical thinking
