We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our close-knit team at Palais Royale Hotel in the role of Front Office All-Rounder. As the first point of contact for our esteemed guests, you will play a pivotal role in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment they step through our doors until their fond farewell.

At Palais Royale Boutique Hotel, we are committed to crafting unforgettable experiences for our guests. Exceptional customer service is at the heart of what we do, and we are searching for someone who shares our passion for exceptional hospitality and strives to exceed guest expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Greet all guests in a genuine and approachable manner.

• Complete check-in and check-out procedures for all guests, ensuring a seamless experience.

• Promote and upsell hotel and other Blue Mountains services, enhancing overall guest experience.

• Anticipate the needs of guests and proactively address them to exceed expectations.

• Respond promptly to all guest requests, enquiries, phone calls, and emails.

• Assist the Food & Beverage team with food and beverage service, ensuring a cohesive service environment.

• Support the Housekeeping team to ensure operational efficiency, maintaining high standards of cleanliness

• Coordinate with the housekeeping team to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

• Ensure the lobby lounge is consistently presented at a high standard.

• Effectively communicate and collaborate with team members for a harmonious work environment.

The successful applicant will ideally possess:

• Right to work in Australia.

• Passion for the hospitality industry.

• Impeccable grooming and a professional appearance is necessary.

• Availability to work a rotating roster over seven days, including morning and evening shifts.

• Previous experience in a hotel or customer service environment.

• Qualifications in Hotel Management would be advantageous.

• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

• Customer service orientation with a willingness to go above and beyond.

• Can-do attitude towards work.

• Ability to thrive in a small team and perform under pressure.

  • Competency in using MS Office products including MS Office, Excel and Outlook is desirable
