We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Spray Painter to apply paint and coatings to various surfaces using spray guns and other specialized equipment. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of paint mixing, surface preparation, and application techniques, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, or priming as required before painting.

Mix and match paints to achieve desired color and finish according to specifications.

Apply paint, varnish, or other coatings using spray guns or automated spray systems.

Ensure even coating and proper drying times between layers.

Inspect finished surfaces for quality and consistency; make touch-ups or corrections as needed.

Maintain and clean spray-painting equipment and work areas.

Follow safety procedures related to handling chemicals and using personal protective equipment (PPE).

Work with supervisors or team leads to ensure jobs are completed on time and meet customer or production standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a spray painter, automotive painter, or industrial painter (depending on industry).

Familiarity with spray-painting equipment, techniques, and safety procedures.

Good eye for detail, color matching, and surface finishing.

Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.

Ability to read and interpret job specifications, technical drawings, or color codes.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in spray painting or related trade training.

Experience in automotive, manufacturing, aerospace, or construction industries.

Knowledge of different types of coatings (e.g., powder coating, epoxy, polyurethane).

Work Environment:

May work indoors in paint booths or outdoors, depending on the job.

Requires wearing PPE such as respirators, gloves, and protective clothing.

Exposure to fumes, chemicals, and noisy environments.
