About the role

Gin Gin Quarries' is seeking an experienced and skilled Truck and Dog Operator to join our team on a casual or full-time basis. Based in Bundaberg, QLD, this role will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our truck and dog trailer to transport quarry materials across our sites.

What you'll be doing

Safely operating a truck and dog trailer to transport quarry materials from our quarry to various construction sites

Performing daily pre-start checks and minor maintenance on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition

Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment

Liaising with site supervisors to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely transportation of materials

Completing all necessary paperwork and documentation related to deliveries

Providing excellent customer service to our clients

What we're looking for

A valid Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence with a proven track record of operating large trucks and trailers

Experience in the construction or quarry industry, particularly in the transportation of bulk materials

Strong knowledge of traffic management, load restraint, and heavy vehicle safety practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and supervisors

A commitment to workplace safety and a demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
