Truck & Dog Driver/Hybrid Operator

NeoWaste is looking for someone with a can-do attitude to join our team. New locations every day and the flexibility to move between operating machinery and truck and dog driving should you possess those skills. Must have HC combination licence and relevant experience to be considered. Position can be based out of our Caboolture or Sippy Downs yard dependant on candidates' location.

Position Overview: As a Truck and Dog Driver, you will play a vital role in our site cleanup operations, working collaboratively with a bobcat operator and a labourer. Your primary responsibility will be to transport and deliver materials, operate the truck and dog combination, and assist in various site cleanup tasks across residential building sites across the North Brisbane and Sunshine Coast region.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the truck and dog combination safely and efficiently to transport materials to and from residential sites.

Collaborate with the bobcat operator and labourer to perform site cleanup tasks, including soil removal, waste disposal, and general site maintenance.

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.

Perform pre-starts checks every morning, reporting any maintenance or repair needs promptly.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow.

Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.

Qualifications:

Valid and current Heavy Combination (HC) driver's license with experience in operating truck and dog combinations.

Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience, preferably in construction or similar industries.

Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols related to truck and dog operations.

Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Basic mechanical knowledge for performing routine vehicle inspections.

Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

A positive attitude and willingness to adapt to changing tasks and environments.

Skid Steer ticket and relevant experience desirable but not essential
