About the role
Get hands-on with a mix of trucks (mostly Jap), handle services & small repairs—no engines, no gearboxes, no Saturdays! Workshop-based & busy!

Duties

• Service and repair a variety of trucks (mainly Japanese).
• Handle clutches and minor mechanical fixes.
• No engine or gearbox rebuilds—ever.
• All work is workshop-based—no field jobs.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance.
• Keep repair logs clear and updated.
• Work Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm (with daily OT).
• Optional overtime when available.
• On-call for Saturday breakdowns (double time paid).
• Follow safety procedures at all times.

Skills and experience

• Solid experience servicing Japanese trucks
• Strong knowledge of clutch systems
• Skilled in diagnostics and minor repairs
• Hands-on workshop experience
• Able to read and follow service manuals
• Good problem-solving and attention to detail
• Reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused
• Open to overtime and on-call work
• Trade qualification or relevant certification preferred
• Previous experience in a fast-paced workshop a bonus
