About the role

Aztech Group is seeking an experienced and energetic Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Gunnedah, NSW. This full-time role will involve the servicing and repair of a range of heavy vehicles, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards and returning to the road safely. You will be an integral part of our Automotive Trades team, supporting the business in delivering exceptional service to our clients.

What you'll be doing

Conducting scheduled maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles, including trucks, trailers and other commercial equipment

Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues

Performing a range of repairs, including brake, suspension, transmission and engine servicing and parts replacements

Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work completed

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related trade

Proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, with a strong understanding of the maintenance and repair of commercial vehicles

Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to work to high quality standards

Good communication skills and ability to liaise with both customers and team members

A current driver's license and your own tools
