12 Month Contract | Canberra City | Hybrid/WFH Arrangement

• Canberra City (Hybrid – 4 days WFH)
• $90–$120/hour + super (40hrs/wk)
• 12 Month Contract (ASAP Start)

An ACT Government agency is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support the delivery of multiple projects within a broader transformation program. The role will operate in a structured PRINCE2 and MSP-based environment and focus on business-led outcomes rather than software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage PRINCE2 artefacts including project plans, work packages, status reports, change requests, and end-stage reports
• Oversee all aspects of project delivery including budget, risk, scope, and stakeholder management
• Work collaboratively with the Program Manager and internal/external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success
• Support the delivery of organisational change initiatives and contribute to broader program goals
• Provide timely communication and clear reporting to senior leaders and project sponsors

Challenges:

• Managing tight timeframes and complex stakeholder environments
• Delivering business transformation outcomes in a high-expectation, government-led program

About You:

• Background delivering projects in government (Commonwealth, State, or Territory)
• Strong and recent experience in either market approaches for cloud-based technologies; or organisational change
• High-level written communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive structured project outcomes
• PRINCE2 certification highly regarded; relevant tertiary qualifications preferred
