Greater Shepparton City Council is looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join its Civil Infrastructure Maintenance department. This is a fantastic opportunity to come on board as a Works Officer 03 and join our experienced team as a permanent employee. Council is looking for someone with a positive attitude and is a team player who will take pride in doing the best job they can for the citizens of Greater Shepparton. All Council outdoor staff can perform roles within other work teams from time to time, providing opportunity to gain experience in other areas of work.

This role is within the drainage team who predominately work on Councils drainage infrastructure network and requires the following experience and skills in:

Drainage

Pump maintenance

Penstock maintenance

CCTV operations

In addition to the above experience and skills candidates with, but not limited to one or more of the following will be considered favourably:

Traffic control

Truck licence
