Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assist the Chef with basic food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables

Serving and safely storing food items

Preparing and serving coffee beverages

Help with catering and hosting company events and meetings including set up and pack up

Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in compliance with sanitation and hygiene standards

Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are kept clean, including sweeping and mopping floors, and ensuring work surfaces are regularly cleaned and sanitised

Skills & Experience

Experience in food handling/customer service in a café or commercial kitchen (ideally)

Clean and organised, excellent personal presentation and hygiene

Friendly, personable, good communication skills

Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
