Cairns Airport is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated Graduate Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team for a 9-month term.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Graduate Accountant, you'll gain hands-on experience across various aspects of financial operations, including:

· Month-end support and reconciliations

· Asset accounting and project monitoring

· Assisting with tax compliance and reporting

· Cross-training in accounts payable and supporting leave coverage

· General ledger work and financial performance analysis

You’ll also have the chance to work on ad hoc projects, government reporting, and financial system improvements.

ABOUT YOU:

· A degree in Accounting

· Commitment to pursuing CPA or CA qualification

· High attention to detail and strong analytical skills

· Proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting software a plus

· Great communication and relationship-building abilities

· A can-do attitude and willingness to collaborate across teams

ELIGIBIILITY:

· You need unrestricted rights to work in Australia.

· You must be able to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card.
