About the Role:

WorkPac is currently in search of an Accountant to join our esteemed client's team, based in Como. This position is full time or Part time hours Monday to Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete individual and company tax returns in a timely and accurate manner

Prepare and review financial statements, P&Ls, and balance sheets for small businesses

Assist the senior accountant in day-to-day public practice tasks and client servicing

Maintain strong attention to detail and awareness of political and economic factors affecting clients

Manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver a high level of service

Operate effectively in a fully paperless office environment using relevant software

Skills and Experience:

Qualified CPA/CA (Highly Desirable)

Minimum 3 years’ experience in public practice accounting

Experience preparing individual and small business tax returns

Strong knowledge of financial statements, P&Ls, and balance sheets (preferred)

Excellent time management and organisational skills

High attention to detail and accuracy
