Our client is a vertically integrated mining and civil contractor with iron ore operations across Western Australia. As the company continues to expand its on-site teams at Wiluna, they are seeking a skilled and reliable Trainer & Assessor to deliver VOC assessments for plant and equipment, primarily civil construction machinery, while also supporting general site HSE coverage.

This is a key site-based role suited to someone with a strong earthworks background, confident leading practical training in a mining environment, and able to uphold professional standards in the field.

About the Role:

Deliver and manage VOC assessments on civil and mobile plant equipment (e.g. dozers, excavators, loaders, water carts)

Work alongside another site-based trainer on a 2:1 back-to-back FIFO roster

Provide mentoring and coaching to plant operators and supervisors on safe equipment use

Support HSE leadership on-site when required, with a focus on consistency and professionalism

Maintain accurate training records, VOC logs, and daily reporting

Promote safety-first culture and alignment with PRG’s training standards and expectations

What We’re Looking For:

Certificate IV in Training & Assessment – Essential

Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (WHS) – Highly regarded

Solid background in civil construction and earthworks operations

Strong familiarity with mobile plant operation and assessment standards

Ability to build trust and rapport with crews while holding clear expectations

Organised, professional and capable of working autonomously on site

Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

Available for FIFO mobilisation from Perth
