Our client is a well-established civil contractor in the Australian mining sector, specialising in rehabilitation, construction, and maintenance projects. With a strong pipeline of work across WA, they’re now looking for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to support operations on an FMG project. This role will see you leading the workshop for a bulk earthworks and mining project.

• $165K base + $20K site uplift + super
• 8:6 FIFO roster (day shift only)

• Hands-on leadership role across a modern civil fleet

About the Role:

You’ll be responsible for leading the onsite maintenance team to keep a mixed mobile equipment operating safely and efficiently. Your focus will be on maximising uptime, coordinating breakdowns, mentoring trades, and maintaining high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor workshop personnel
• Manage diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Coordinate breakdown response and job allocation
• Liaise with site leadership to align maintenance priorities
• Maintain high safety and compliance standards across the team

Equipment includes:

• New CAT 336 excavators
• CAT D9 dozers
• Kenworth semi water carts
• Ancillary mobile plant

What You’ll Need:

• Previous Workshop or Maintenance Supervisor on mining or civil sites
• Trade Certificate – Mobile Plant (Cert III) or equivalent
• FMG Inducted (desirable)
• Ability to obtain or already hold an S26 (preferred)
• White Card and Australian manual C Class licence (HR/HC preferred)
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Sound understanding of CMMS and basic Microsoft Office
• Australian unrestricted working rights
