We are looking for our newest team members to join our expanding Midas Tyre & Auto team in Toowoomba.

We have positions available for an experienced Trade Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic/Technician that possess a high level of technical and product knowledge, experience in diagnosis, servicing and repair skills with the ability to maintain quality workmanship.

Responsibilities and duties include:

Repairing, servicing and performing diagnostics on passenger, light commercial and 4WD vehicles

Reporting all necessary work, service or repairs to the Manager and recording information using our service reporting systems

Effective time management skills, self-initiative and be able to prioritise multiple responsibilities

Neat and tidy presentation, punctual and professional manner

Applicants MUST have the following qualifications and recent employment experience:

Certificate III in Automotive Technician (Light Vehicle)

Previous experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic

Current valid manual QLD driver's license

Customer-focused and ready to get stuck in

Ability to work productively unsupervised both independently and within a small team

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Vast mechanical knowledge across a range of vehicle brands and types
