About Us
Mob Box Pty Ltd is a proudly Indigenous-owned and operated container solutions business, founded in 2023 and based in North Maclean, Queensland. We’re a young but ambitious company, specializing in modified shipping containers for use in construction, mining, logistics, and remote community settings. From mobile site offices to off-grid power units, we handle everything in-house — from design to fabrication and delivery.
As a growing business, we’re ready to take the next step. We’re looking for a Sales & Client Relationship Manager to help us expand into new markets, and strengthen customer relationships.
The Role
This is a key role in our next stage of growth. As our first dedicated Sales Manager, you’ll work directly with the founders to bring in new business, follow up leads, and build strong relationships with Tier 1 Contractors, Government Clients, and Remote Project Teams.
This is a 6-month fixed-term contract designed as a trial — with a clear path to a full-time, permanent position if KPIs are met. If the role proves successful, there will also be the opportunity to build a small team around you as Mob Box expands its client base and internal structure.
Responsibilities
Proactively generate leads and opportunities in the civil, mining, construction, and government sectors
Respond to enquiries and prepare quotes and tailored proposals
Track and convert your own sales pipeline
Maintain regular client communication and build long-term relationships
Collaborate with our operations and fabrication team to ensure smooth delivery
Represent Mob Box at Industry Expos, Procurement Events, and Networking Forums
Follow up completed jobs to ensure satisfaction and build repeat business
About You
You’re a confident and capable salesperson who thrives in environments where there’s room to build. You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and try new approaches, and you want to be part of a business that’s doing things differently — with purpose and community impact at its core.
You’ll ideally have:
3+ years of B2B sales or client management experience
A background in mining, construction, industrial, or logistics sales (ideal but not essential)
Strong communication and quote-writing skills
Familiarity with Indigenous procurement and/or Tier 1 contractor processes
Great follow-through and CRM tracking habits
A drive to build something meaningful and long-lasting

$90K base salary (pro-rata for 6 months)
