Workfast is currently seeking qualified Electricians to join upcoming works on Sydney Water infrastructure projects in Thornleigh. These trenchless tunnelling works will support the delivery of critical water upgrades across Sydney’s North West.

• Location: Thornleigh, NSW
• Shifts: 10–12 hour shifts
• Pay Rate: $51.00 per hour + OT + Super
• Job Type: Ongoing project work

This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work on one of Sydney’s major tunnelling and infrastructure upgrades, with strong pay and development potential.

Project works are scheduled to commence in mid-July 2025.

What You Will Be Doing

• Installing junction boxes and electrical conduit throughout tunnel sections
• Running cabling, fit-offs, and other electrical tasks
• Assisting tunnelling crew with general labouring and support duties
• Entering and working in confined spaces as required
• Operating safely within active tunnelling zones
• Participating in team toolbox talks and safety drills
• Completing a respirator fit test prior to site start

What You Need

• White Card – essential
• Electrical Licence - essential
• Confined Space Entry ticket – essential
• Working at Heights ticket – essential
• Must pass a Respirator Fit Test (mandatory requirement)
• Previous experience on tunnelling or infrastructure projects – highly regarded
• Physically fit and able to work 10–12 hour shifts
• Team-oriented with a safety-first mindset
• Flexible to work day and night shifts
