Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Mental Health Nurse to join Student Services, People Services, Administrative Division.
Mental Health Nurse ongoing part-time. The role will include providing risk assessment for student experiencing complex mental health challenges as well as brief interventions using counselling skills when required. The role will also consist of providing triage, case management and co-ordination for students.

What you need to succeed
- Registered as a credentialed Mental Health Nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses and AHPRA.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proven experience in patient risk assessment, case management, individual therapy, experience with monitoring medications, recent acute inpatient and/or community experience.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to clients from a diverse range of backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and respond to changing work priorities, as well as self-manage personal development and workloads.
- Utilize computer systems and software applications to perform daily tasks efficiently. A proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
