About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Aspira Business and Financial Services' team in Newcastle, NSW as an Intermediate Accountant. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative environment, where you can develop your skills and progress your career in accounting. This full-time role will provide you with hands-on experience in a range of accounting and business advisory services.
What you'll be doing
Assist with the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting reports
Conduct research and analysis to support the firm's accounting and advisory services
Participate in client meetings and assist with the delivery of accounting and advisory services
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
Undertake ongoing professional development to enhance your accounting and advisory skills
What we're looking for
3+ years of experience in a Business Services/Tax Advisory role
A completed bachelor's degree in Accounting and looking to progress towards your CA
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development
A passion for providing exceptional client service
