About the role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified security technician to join our growing team.

The right candidate will take a lead role in on-site installation, maintenance and commissioning of security systems.

Must be competent and experienced with Integriti, Inception, Tecom, Bosch, Hills, Avigilon, Dahua & Hikvision.

Must have a good understanding of IP networks

Must have the ability to work independently and in a team.

The role is based in Sydney, with occasional travel to regional and interstate locations.

Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve faults

Excellent documentation skills, including completing job sheets, reports, site plans and team communications

Proven experience installing, programming, servicing and commissioning security systems

The ability to learn our ways, adapt and be flexible

What you'll be doing

Install, configure and commission electronic security equipment, CCTV, access control systems, intruder alarm systems, intercoms, etc.

Manage installations and maintenance works from start to finish.

Perform routine maintenance and fault-finding on new and existing sites.

Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical advice.

Maintain accurate records and documentation of all works undertaken via job management app.

Comply with all relevant health, safety and quality standards.

Assist with day-to-day and project-related tasks.

Required Qualifications and Licencing:

Minimum 5 years experience in electronic security installation & maintenance

Class 2B & 2C Security Licence

Valid Cabling Licence

Valid NSW Drivers licence

Construction White Card

Australian Citizenship

Working with Children Check

Current Integriti Certification

EWP Licence (preferred)
