APAC FM is seeking an experienced Electronic Security Technician to join one of our global clients in Sydney. In this dynamic, field-based role, you’ll be responsible for the installation, servicing and maintenance of a wide range of electronic security systems including CCTV, alarms, access control (Boom Gates), and intercoms across various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Occasional Install, Mainly Service and Maintain electronic security systems including CCTV, access control, alarms, and intercoms (Integriti/Inception Systems)

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all security system components to ensure optimal performance.

Diagnose faults and repair or replace defective components promptly.

Carry out system testing & troubleshooting

Provide customer service & technical support

Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian standards & codes.

Work alongside project managers, electricians, IT teams, and subcontractors to deliver complete system solutions.

What You’ll Need:

Class 2B & 2C Security Licence (required)

Cabling Licence (required)

Restricted or Full Electrical Licence (Highly Desired)

Proven experience installing, programming and commissioning access control systems.

Integriti Certification (required)

White Card

EWP (required)
