About the Role
As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable function of the organisation. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to ensuring timely payment from the clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor accounts receivable aging to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
Follow up with clients on overdue accounts via phone, email, and mail.
Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies or billing issues.
Provide regular updates and reports to management on accounts receivable status.
Work closely with the finance team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Process Credit applications
Work closely with the sales team
About You
Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Cert IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting preferred.
Proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Proactive approach to problem-solving.
Understand the need for responsiveness, value and accuracy.
