About us:
The 30-bed Interim Care Unit located at Bolton Clarke Sunset Ridge Residential Aged Care Facility is dedicated to care for suitably admitted maintenance patients, operating 24-hours per day. The unit is split into two wings Seahorse and Starfish. Seahorse is a secure area and Starfish is non secure. Interim Care is for people who no longer require care in an acute hospital setting, are unable to return to their own home and need support to progress to a Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) or transition to the community with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) supports.
About the role:
The Clinical Nurse (CN) provides an early leadership role within the career pathway for nursing within Central Queensland Health (CQ Health) and is responsible for a specific patient population and can function in more complex situations while providing support and direction to the Registered Nurse (RN), Enrolled Nurse (EN) and other non-registered nursing personnel. The CN follows defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe, practice and services and workplaces.
About you:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is mandatory for this position.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $131,900 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
