The Company:
Our client based in Brisbane, is an Australianaerospace engineering engineering company with an exciting and visionary mission to develop a sustainable, green launch platform for spaceflight.

The Role:
As the Configuration Management Officer, you will be primarily responsible for performing regular configuration managements (CM) tasks across the engineering team, in accordance with company CM plans and processes. This will involve collaboration across the engineering, operations and IT teams within the business.
The key outcomes expected of this role:

1. Perform day to day configuration management of our engineering products, ensuring that all relevant baselines are maintained.
2. Deliver improvements to tools and processes for configuration management, product design (including mechanical and electrical design using CAD tools)
3. Manage change in product baselines into the manufacturing workflow

Key Skills and Experience Required:

• Working knowledge of configuration management principles, and practices (ideally 2 years plus experience)
• Demonstrated experience in the deployment of engineering applications and database management.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Work, Excel, Outlook.
• Familiarity with engineering or technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Able to work in a flexible, fast moving and dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and results driven.
• Able to train others on CM tools.

Advantageous to have:

• Experience with Siemens NX and Solidworks Teamcenter integration.
• Experience in customising and administering Siemens Teamcentre.
• Experience in back end updates to Siemens Teamcentre, facilitating business specific engineering data processing and management
