Our client is a Tier I Mechanical Contractor with a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality HVAC projects across South Australia. With a project portfolio ranging from $500k to $40 million, they’ve built trusted relationships with major builders and developers across the region. Due to sustained growth and project wins, they are now seeking an experienced HVAC Estimator to join their high-performing team.

The Role
As a HVAC Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a range of mechanical services projects. You will predominantly work on projects valued between $500k – $10 million, collaborating with Tier I and Tier II builders across a variety of sectors, including:

• Commercial buildings
• Education facilities
• Retail developments
• Healthcare infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end estimating process for HVAC projects
• Review and interpret tender documentation, drawings, and specifications
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid submissions
• Work closely with senior estimators and the wider project/design delivery team
• Ensure tenders are completed within required timeframes and to a high standard

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• 5+ years’ experience in an HVAC Estimating role within a contractor environment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical services systems and pricing methodologies
• Confidence working independently on tenders up to $10 million
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• A team-oriented mindset and commitment to high-quality outcomes
