About the Role:

As our Video Producer and Editor, you will be the driving force behind our video content, from initial concept to final upload. You will be responsible for creating engaging long-form and short-form videos for YouTube and social media that resonate with our primarily American demographic. This role is perfect for a creative storyteller who lives and breathes video content and has a deep understanding of the YouTube platform, social media and loves cooking.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Strategy: Develop, pitch, and execute fresh and exciting video concepts for YouTube and other social platforms. This includes creating compelling posts, and long-form and short-form video content.

Production & Directing: Take the lead in our Gold Coast studio and on location, directing the food blogger and any guests. This will involve occasional international travel to film and direct on-location shoots.

Video Editing: Expertly edit video content to the highest standard, ensuring it is engaging, on-brand, and optimised for the YouTube algorithm.

YouTube Channel Management: Oversee the YouTube channel, including content scheduling, community engagement, and performance analysis to drive growth.

Audience Development: Utilise your knowledge of the American media landscape to ensure all content is tailored to the target demographic.

Podcast & Show Appearances: Proactively source and pitch opportunities for the food blogger to appear on relevant podcasts and shows to expand brand reach.

Technical Management: Be responsible for all aspects of production, including camera operation, lighting, sound, and the backing up and management of all footage.

About You:

YouTube Expert: You have a deep and practical understanding of the YouTube platform, including algorithm best practices, audience engagement strategies, and content monetisation.

Technical Proficiency: You are a skilled and experienced video editor with a strong portfolio. You are also proficient with professional camera and audio equipment.

Industry Knowledge: You have a solid understanding of the digital media and food blogging industry.

Flexibility & Adaptability: You are comfortable with a fast-paced environment, flexible working hours to accommodate international collaboration, and the excitement of international travel.

Proactive & Independent: You are a self-starter who can work independently to manage projects from start to finish.
