We’re lean, ambitious, building for scale, and looking for our founding Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Sydney-based team and help fuel the next phase of growth.
This isn’t just an SDR job, it’s a chance to be the first rep at a high-potential AI startup. You’ll work directly with the leadership team, play a pivotal role in value realisation for our clients, and will be heavily involved in many exciting projects that will test your skills and grow your capabilities.
About the Role
As Lineer’s first SDR, you’ll be responsible for building pipeline, running outbound campaigns for Lineer, as well as converting cold leads into meetings for our clients. You’ll use our own technology to generate leads and then follow up with strategic phone outreach to book qualified meetings.
You’ll become an expert in articulating the value of our AI solution, running crisp discovery conversations, and making prospects feel like they’ve just spoken to the future of sales.
What You’ll Do
Be the first voice that prospective customers hear from Lineer through calls, emails, and creative outbound tactics.
Run structured discovery conversations to qualify interest and book meetings for the Growth team.
Work directly with the Head of Growth to test new markets, refine messaging, and influence our GTM strategy.
Become an internal voice of the market by sharing what you hear from prospects back to our product and leadership team.
Contribute to campaign development and outbound experiments that drive demand.
About You
Based in Sydney, Australia (hybrid working model).
You're likely to be early in your career but you're enthusiastic about your future; you’ve set and hit ambitious goals in the past (sales, sport, side hustle).
You’re naturally curious, confident asking questions, and comfortable making phone calls.
You’re resourceful, adaptable, and thrive in early-stage environments, whilst working with some unknowns whilst we figure it out!
You’re excited by AI and want to be part of a team building the future of sales.
