Workfast is currently taking Expressions of Interest for experienced Excavator Operators to join upcoming works on Sydney Water infrastructure projects in Rouse Hill.

• Location: Rouse Hill, NSW
• Shifts: 10–12 hour shifts
• Pay Rate: $41.00 per hour + OT + Super
• Job Type: Ongoing project work

These trenchless tunnelling works will support the delivery of critical water upgrades across Sydney’s North West. This is a great opportunity to secure consistent, long-term work on a major tunnelling and infrastructure upgrade project.

Project works are scheduled to commence in mid-July 2025.

What You Will Be Doing

• Operating excavators in trenchless tunnelling environments
• Assisting with trenching, backfilling, and machine positioning
• Supporting pipe installation and general earthworks
• Working in and around confined spaces as required
• Supporting tunnelling crew with general labouring when needed
• Following safety procedures and completing a respirator fit test before starting on site

What You Need

• White Card – essential
• Excavator ticket and proven experience – essential
• Confined Space Entry ticket – essential
• Working at Heights ticket – desirable
• Must pass a Respirator Fit Test (mandatory requirement)
• Previous tunnelling or civil infrastructure experience – highly regarded
• Physically fit for 10–12 hour shifts
• Strong teamwork and safety-first approach
