About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Motor Mechanic for our busy automotive workshop. This role requires a hands-on person with strong technical expertise, excellent organizational skills. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship, maximizing productivity, and delivering top-tier customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Communication
Liaise with customers, service advisors, and management to ensure clear communication about repairs, timelines, and costs.
Address customer concerns and ensure their satisfaction with workshop services.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Workshop/Mechanical
Perform repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on customer vehicles.
Identifying mechanical faults
Performing all tasks relating to tyres and wheel/suspension services that JAX Tyres & Auto provide.
Safely Operating hoist and conducting road tests as required.
Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum of 2+ years in motor mechanic.
Wheel Alignment Experience required.
Qualifications, Certificates and Licenses:
Relevant automotive/mechanical certifications required in NSW.
Driver's License
Skills:
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
Leadership
Tyre Fitting
General & Logbook servicing
Experience with various Brands
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
Availability:
Available to work Saturdays
