About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team at Cutlers Tyrepower in Coffs Harbour, NSW. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of mechanical repairs and servicing on a variety of vehicles.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults in cars, light commercial vehicles and 4WDs
• Servicing vehicles according to manufacturer specifications
• Carrying out general vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, brake repairs, and tyre rotations
• Test driving vehicles to ensure repairs have been carried out effectively
• Providing excellent customer service and advice to our clients
• Maintaining detailed records of all work undertaken
• Ensuring a safe and organised workshop environment

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in Automotive Mechanics or equivalent experience
• Proven track record as a qualified Motor Mechanic, with at least 3-5 years' hands-on experience
• Excellent knowledge of automotive systems and the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle faults
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively
