Position Overview:

As a Disability Support Worker, you will assist individuals with disabilities in leading independent, fulfilling lives. This includes providing personal care, supporting daily activities, promoting social engagement, and assisting with health and wellbeing needs. Your role will help individuals achieve their goals and live their lives to the fullest.

We are a looking for support workers looking to work a rotating 24/7 roster (including sleepovers) across our SIL house located in Belmont

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care and support with daily living activities (e.g., hygiene, dressing, mobility).

Assist with meal preparation and nutritional needs.

Support clients in community participation and recreational activities.

Administer medication and ensure proper documentation.

Encourage and support independence, skills development, and social engagement.

What we need from you:

Experience supporting NDIS participants

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Demonstrated effective interpersonal,

Available for shifts within a rotating 24/7 roster (SCHADS Award)

A clear and strong commitment to providing quality care to all participants

A positive and nurturing attitude

Well -developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

High standards of presentation and personal hygiene

Essential Criteria

Minimum Certificate III in Disability or related fields of support

Minimum 12 months experience working in disability

Training and experience in intellectual disability support

Experience with participants with Dysphagia and Diabetes

First Aid Certificate

Current Australian driver's licence

Comprehensively insured vehicle in good order

Permission to work in Australia

NDIS Worker Clearance
